    1. [MA-CENSUS] Helpful info for lookup requests
    2. I have done several 1880 census lookups on this and other census-lookup sites.  Often there is nothing but a name.  Other information such a date of birth, place of birth, ethnicity (Asian, Black, Mexican, Mulatto, Native American, White, or unknown) can narrow down a search.  County where the person lived at the time of the census, if known is a bonus.  Names of siblings or children often lead to a "find" when a name is slightly different. Additionally, it would be appreciated if no more than 2 or 3 actual lookups at a time are requested.  Most of us volunteers are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the genealogy community because we have received so much.  However, we do have personal priorities. Thank you for your consideration.            Barbara
