Coffin MERRILL & his stepfather Israel H. MERRILL. Is it true there is a 1865 MA State census? If there is, I would greatly appreciate a lookup of my Great Grandmother Elizabeth Sarah SEFTON COFFIN, b. 1838, St. Helena Island, South Atlantic Ocean, whom John married in 1861.
