So - it would be safe to say that Thomas came to the US between 1840 & 1850, met Harriet here (?) married, moved to Mass. by 1855 when James was born. Henry seems to be his brother who has a son Charles, b. 1848/49 in Rhode Island....guessing that the two brother probably came before 1848 to probably Mass. and then onto the mills in Rhode Island.
