    3. It was suggested yesterday that I look in Boston, ED's 1249 and 1251 for 835 Washington St. in the 1900 census. I found the even numbers of Washington St. in ED 1249, but not the odd numbers. That suggests that Washington St. is the dividing line between two ED's - what would the other one be, please? Thanks, Betty Torno St. Louis, MO ----- Original Message ----- From: Betty Torno To: BOSTON-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, May 15, 2005 4:12 PM Subject: TORNO in the 1900 census Dear List, According to the Ellis Island web site, Laurent TORNO arrived in this country with his wife, M. B. (Marianne Berti) TORNO and their son, Camille, age 2 (died before Oct, 1902) on October 20, 1894. Then, Marianne is listed as arriving in NY in 1900 (she must have gone back for a visit) with Camille, female (daughter), age 4 and Laurence, female (daughter?), age 3. This time Laurent is not with her but she states that he will pay her fare to her final destination, Boston, 835 Washington St. My problem is that I cannot find Laurent TORNO in the 1900 census; he should be at 835 Washington St. according to what Marianne said. She, on the other hand, may have been out of the country when the census was taken. Any suggestions? Is there any way to look up the address without the name in the 1900 census? Thanks for any help, Betty Torno
