Hi Maryann, That's the one! Thank you so much! I forgot his wife was Catharine (my great grandmother) until she died in 1909, I meant to ask for the 1910 census...Do you by any chance have the 1910 or 1920? I just received his will and it lists his widowed wife a Margaret and I'm trying to figure out when they may have married. Thanks again, as I didn't have the 1910 either! Could someone look up in the 1910 Census for Arthur O'Neil(l) and spouse Anne Elizabeth (Tracy) living in Revere. I believe they left there in 1918 to go back to NB Canada. They were married in 1909. Had 3 children Harriet, Arthur, James, John (My Father) all born in Revere from 1909 to 1916. Also, Tracy family, her father was Michael Tracy and Mother was Mary Elizabeth Quinn. When Anne was born (1889) she lived at 111 Bowen St, Boston. Any information on her and her siblings (we believe she had 4 brothers and no sisters) would be appreciated. Perhaps any census in the 1890 to 1900 period would have most of info on the Tracy family. Any info would be much appreciated Jan (O'Neill) Rogers

Christine, The closest I can get to your William are these. In the first, given the Scottish usage of "Jane" vs "Jean", I thought that "Jennie" might be a worth looking in to. The second would assume that, at the time of the census, William and Jane had not yet married. Hope this helps! Raynold & Jean, Hope that you can find out more about this fellow. I have a doll carved by the famous dollmaker, Schoenhut (sp?), based on a young Finnish boy who lived in Lanesville in about the period that you mention. Might be worth looking at the Langsford Cemetery for him. I hope to get there one of these days. 'Evening. Perhaps if the above census was searched I might learn something of my Uncle Matti Ojala. Born 03/08/1897 in Haapajarvi, Finland, he arrived in Am. 1914. Came to Lanesville (Rockport) area. In Finland his name was Matias Tormala but on Passport and in U.S. he used Matti Ojala. It was reported that he "wandered about" Lanesville and Maynard (Middlesex Co.) MA. (Certainly not a success story!) Records in Finland only tell us he died unmarried in Am. 1925. For some reason I am not comfortable with that date....but have nothing else to go on. Finland cannot seem to advise which Am. state the notice of death originated from. He was of a family of eleven upstanding sons and daughters. I am most eager to learn where/when/how he died. I would like to know where he is buried; that I might show recognition and perhaps erect a stone. Many thanks for anything you might learn. Raynold Brooks (Maine)

I know that she was born in Nova Scotia but do not know much else about her after she came to Salem, MA until she remarried my ggrandfather, Alexander Stewart. I do not even have a birth date for her, or where she died or when. Thanks for the help, it is appreciated.
