I have access to the 1900 Census records for the US (I am willing to do look-ups if anyone would like me to). I have been able to find a few of my ancestors in it but am having trouble finding others. One family that I have been unable to find is Morris O'Brien, his wife Margaret Harrington, and their children: David, Lawrence, Jack (john?), James, Maurice, Bridget, Ellen, Harry, Grover, Mary, and Frances. I believe they were living in Springfield (or West Springfield), Hampden Co. MA in 1900. I know David was born on July 4, 1881 in Russell, MA. I have tried all variations of Morris and O'Brien that I can think of and still nothing. I am only able to search my records by head of household. If anyone knows of a good search engine for the 1900 Census records or has any other helpful information please let me know. Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

I found nothing on your Gore inquiry, but here is 1880 for Booth. There are no 1890 census papers available; they were burned in a fire. Hope this helps. My gggrandfather had always put down on census'that his parents were born in Ireland. His brother up always put they were born in NY. I have had no luck finding the parents. NOTHING...NADA. I would like to see if Thomas Lyman Gray wrote that his parents were born in Ireland in the 1920 census hoping that finally I might have agreement from both about the birth of their parents. Thomas Lyman Gray born in Troy, NY. 1848 residing in Webster in 1920. Thank you so much in advance for any help I can get. Patti

Hello. I am still searching for the elusive Uncle: Matti Ojala (B. 03/08/1897 in Finland). Would someone look on the census? Thank you. Finland records only tell us he died in Am. 1925 ...no state given! Thank you. Jean
I just rec'd in yesterday's mail from Mass Archives 2 death certs. Now they are not the originals, but there was enough information for me to make a positive match, my great great grandfather and his sister. Cost $3.00 each. I did have the dates and location of death. My grandfather was a not found, they searched, I think 1890-1900, and returned my $3.00. And indeed they were correct, he was born in Ireland in 1890. Are you sure you requested from the Archives?
