    1. [MA-CENSUS] Essex/1910/Svenson or Swanson
    2. Phyllis Nelson
    3. This is my first post to the census list. I do not know the enumeration district number for this address and I would like to find what it is. Janne Thorvald SVENSSON (Svenson or Swanson) came in 1907 to live with his brother, Ferd SVENSON (full name in Sweden was Per Ferdinand SVENSSON) at 15 Agate Street, Beverly, Massachusetts. Janne Thorvald, born 1888, probably used Thorvald. Per Ferdinand, born 1878, probably used Fred. If this Svenson/Swanson family cannot be found in the 1910 census, I would appreciate a look-up in the 1920 census. Thank you for your help. Phyllis Nelson Baldwin City, Kansas

    1. [MA-CENSUS] 1900 Census ? Greater Boston ? PACHECO Family !
    2. BBFFRRPP
    3. Good morning, I would like to attempt to create a family tree for my best friend. When he was growing up, his grandmother was a big part of his life. But, his grandfather had died almost 20 years before he was born. His grandmother had told him about her coming from St. Michael's in the Azores, as a pre-teen. She worked as a servant, and, when she had saved enough money, she sent for her two sisters and a brother. But, my friend knows nothing about when and how his grandfather arrived. Anthony PACHECO and Elsie MOURA married, possibly in the Greater Boston area, possibly around 1900. They had nine children born to them, and the youngest was born around 1923. Anthony Pacheco was killed in a train accident when his youngest child was a baby. We believe they lived their entire married life .. 1905 to 1925 ??? .. in Cambridge, MA. And, I was curious if Anthony Pacheco was listed in the 1900 Census for MA. If Elsie Moura was listed, she might have been listed as living as a servant in someone's home. (Someone told me that her given name might have been Isabel Moura.) (Her siblings were Rosie, Marie, and Manny.) Many Pacheco's arrived from the Azores, sailing into either Martha's Vineyard or New Bedford or Fall River. But, Anthony seems to have come directly ... to Cambridge, MA. There was another Pacheco family in Cambridge, MA, at the same time. But, as far as my friend knows, they were not related. Thank you very much for your time. Have a good weekend. Betty (near Lowell, MA)

    1. [MA-CENSUS] BRODERICK family of 1880, N. Adams, Berkshire Co.
    2. Sharon Murray
    3. Is it possible to have a look-up in North Adams, Berkshire Co. for the BRODERICK family? I think it may be the family of Jeremiah BRODERICK I am looking for. I only know the name of his wife Margaret MURRAY BRODERICK. Margaret immigrated with her mother Mary HULBURT MURRAY, brother William and sister Mary circa 1875. As she was 54 in 1896 when she died I am assuming that she and ?Jeremiah were married with children by 1880. Margaret is the sister of my grandfather's father, William MURRAY. Thank you Sharon Murray _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

    1. [MA-CENSUS] Carroll
    2. Diane Ensign
    3. I'm searching for information about a family relative named Steve Carroll. I know very little about him. I was told he was a witness at another family members wedding. That was in 1913 in New Britain Conn. At the Russian Orthodox Holy Trinity Church on Washington Street. I also know from family members that he owned a little variety store that may have been in Springfield, Mass. My Russian family told me he immigrated to America around the early 1900's. Steve's Russian family remain in a tiny forest village called Kleshchi, Belarus. They sent me a photo of him in his early teens taken in the village. I am hoping to find information about him, so that I can also learn if he had a family here in America to share with my Russian relatives. Any help would be appreciate.
