    2. Raynold & Jean Brooks
    3. Would someone be so kind as to look for William J. & Marion P. BOOTH. I know there was a son Willis born 1901. Am wondering if there were more children? Also, if someone has 1920 census, could you look for Willis (as I am especially working on him). Willis would probably still be single, & hopefully living with his parents in 1920. Thank you very much. I have a SS-5 Form for a Willis Austin Booth. He is not "mine" so I would send it to anyone interested. He was B. in Portland, CT. Jean

    3. The only Henry Ayotte I could find in Worcester Co in 1900 was: Head: Henry Ayotte born 1860 in Canada Wife: Fidelia born 1858 in Canada Children: Telesphore, Arthur, Oscar If this sounds like it might be a relative, let me know and I'll send the record to you. Any idea where in Worcester Co. they may have been? If you'd like me to try any other variation on the surname, let me know (I've already tried Ayote). -Erin >From: "Emily Handler" <oceannia@hotmail.com> >Reply-To: MA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com >To: MA-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [MA-CENSUS] Ayotte, 1900/1910, Worcester Co >Date: Fri, 24 Aug 2001 00:02:31 +0000 > >Looking for the Ayotte family in 1900 or 1910, I believe in Worcester Co. >father: Henry >mother: Elizabeth >children (might not all be on the 1900): Henry, Elizabeth, Corrine, >Philamina. 1. [MA-CENSUS] JAMES & LAVAIR CLARK, AND DAUGHTERS, MARY & RHODA, 1830-1850
    2. BBFFRRPP
    3. Hello... Because I only found out last fall that the couple who adopted my grandmother as a baby ... were her maternal grandparents, I have not gotten very far in this research. Also, last fall I found out that there were thousands .... of Clark families in New England in the early years, so I didn't have much of a chance in finding information about one couple with no other information about them. However, I just found the1850 Census for Westport, MA, on-line, and I found something curious. Mary A. Clark and Rhoda Clark are listed on this Census, but their parents are not listed. I don't know anything about Rhoda Clark, but Mary Anna Clark was born in the spring of 1837 in Westport. This means that she was 13 years old on this Census. (This Clark family was not mentioned on the 1830 Census for Westport.) Mary Anna Clark married John Dexter who was born in Killingly, CT, in 1837. I have no idea when or where they married. ... On the Death Certificate for Mrs. Mary Dexter, her parents were listed as James and Lavair Clark. Is it possible that James and Lavair Clark died early, thus leaving their daughters orphaned? Would Mary and Rhoda have been living in the home of another family? Thank you for whatever suggestions you can offer. Betty (near Lowell, MA)

    3. Where would I find the information on the Census for 1910 that I could get an indexing to find where my ggrandfather was, if he was in MA at that time? He was over 64 at this time, so who knows. I would also like to find out if my ggrandmother had a child between 1905-08 in Salem, MA They put the child, I believe it to be a boy child according to the information my cousin gave me, up for adoption. I suppose my ggrandfather being older he couldn't take care of him, and my grandmother was blind and away at school. Margaret There is only one other alternative to getting older, and I'm not ready for that yet. I'm too busy diggin my roots and searching for more limbs to my tree. Diggin for Stewart, McConnell, Inglis, Herring, MacFarlane, Jones, and others on paternal side, Addison,Wright,Newell,McDaniel,Foster,Renfro on maternal side and others. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp

    3. Margaret, The census is held for 72 yrs. 1910 and 1920 are available on microfilm and for a price on CD. 1910 in most states was not indexed which makes searching quite a chore unless you know the ED#. 2. Hello listers, Just before the USA Social Security fees went sky high, I requested this info, and it is not my person. 1. [MA-CENSUS] Helpful info for lookup requests
    2. I have done several 1880 census lookups on this and other census-lookup sites.  Often there is nothing but a name.  Other information such a date of birth, place of birth, ethnicity (Asian, Black, Mexican, Mulatto, Native American, White, or unknown) can narrow down a search.  County where the person lived at the time of the census, if known is a bonus.  Names of siblings or children often lead to a "find" when a name is slightly different. Additionally, it would be appreciated if no more than 2 or 3 actual lookups at a time are requested.  Most of us volunteers are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the genealogy community because we have received so much.  However, we do have personal priorities. Thank you for your consideration.            Barbara
