Lou, I'm looking for any information on the Nally family. I am trying to link this information with Honora Nally who is my wife's great grandmother. Honora was also from Northampton and was most likely already married by the time of the 1870 census. With information regarding both families, I may be able to figure out which one or both or neither of the families is related to my wife's Nally family. Thanks for the response... I appreciate the help. There's a Jennie Curtin, wife of Frank in the Lowell census. She is 34 years old with a sonRobert 12. Coincidentally - Frank is a hospital attendant. then there's a Jane Curtin age 71 in Essex County, widow with 2 daughters. How old is yours? Lucy Whoever said "Seek and ye shall find" was not a genealogist.

Hmmm...well, that could be a posibility. That would mean he was 27 at the time of marriage which would make sense. At least a clue......but wonder how the MA info came into it...or maybe that was a red herring. HI...Oh, good! I thought everyone was ignoring me. Sorry you lost your data. George DeWitt b. ?, said to be in MA. Married o4 Sept 1873 in Cuyahoga OH to Margaret Crocker b. England. They had a daughter, said to be b. in MA or Ohio in 1879, Jane Maud DeWitt who m. Jospeh O. Cormier b. 1864, Canada, immigrated to USA 1887, m. 1898. Jane (then Buckingham) d. 1960 in Cleveland OH. She had brothers listed in the obit as George H. (perhaps a junior?), Howard B., and Alonzo C. The only clues I have is that it was said that George De Witt was b. in MA and Jane Maud in MA or OH. He might be found in 1870 and perhaps the family in 1880? . I guess I am looking for De Witt families in MA around that time......if there are any. Hi, Lucy, Don't know if I answered your question and haven't heard much about this subject. George DeWitt was said to have been b. in MA, but I have no record of it. He married Margaret Crocker b. England in Cuyahoga OH in 1873. Their daughter, Jane Maud (Jennie) was b. in 1879, place unknown but said to be MA or OH. She had brothers: Howard B., Alonzo C. and George H. They don't show up on Ohio census for 1880. Could they still be in MA? Or would George show up with a family in 1870? thanks for any help, Marilyn in NH ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 8:13 PM Subject: Re: [MA-CENSUS-LOOKUP] DeWitt, 1879 > Marilyn: > There are several George De Witt. Can anyone do a lookup in the Mass. 1860 census for Patrick Crehan, wife Ellen. Patrick and Ellen would have been 35 years old at this time. Children were possibly Mark and Delia. They might have lived in Hampden County, Springfield. Thank you.
