Hi , It is very simple. I would like to try and find out when my great-grandparents George A. Sr. and Jennie Currier died and where they are buried, if at all possible. I don't need any more info on their kids. If someone would be helpful enough to look it up for me I'd appreciate it very much. Does anyone have access to the Haverhill census for 1920? Thank you. Connie
Correction, could someone please lookup the following: Margaret McDonald, age unknown, born Ireland, in 1860 Boston, Suffolk Co.? Regards, Nancy
Connie, Sorry, I lost the thread on this one. Who are we supposed to be looking for in 1920? Lou ---------------------original message------------------------ In a message dated 11/02/03 4:25:44 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: << HI, I have tried for 3 days to get this message off as a follow-up to previous messages. MY wireless keyboard seems to be malfunctioning even with new batteries so if it's full of mistakes that is why. As far as I know the information I gave about George and Jennie is correct except for their ages. I realized that after i sent the message. they had to b 49 or 50. i don 't know Jennie's middle name but her daughter is listed as jennie on the 1910 census whom I always heard referred to as Jane. Maybe Jennie is a nickname for Jane. Years ago, in Scotland it was a tradition to name your oldest daughter after your husband's mother and the second one after your own mother. Jennie 's mother is believed to be Jane Dewar and her father was Duncan Mclellan , who sounds like a Scotchman to me so I am really puzzled about the reference o French I never heard of anyone in the family being French. I do believe it is my family, however. So, George sr. and Jennie were still alive in 1910. Can anyone find them in the 1920 census? I would appreciate it very much. ! If any other info I have is wrong please let me know. Connie >>

Hi, I would appreciate any CENSUS information on : SAMUEL BABCOCK who married SIBYL PRATT; and their family. I have been searching for over 8 years for Samuel's parents. Thanks, in advance, Heather, New Brunswick, Canada This is what I know : Samuel Babcock b. 30 Nov, 1720 Boston, Mass ; d. 17 March , 1810 Augusta, Maine. Sibyl Pratt b. 19 June, 1723 Needham , MA ; d. 12 Oct 1767 ; d/o Henry & Hannah Pratt. They married 22 Nov, 1744 in Boston,MA or Needham,MA. I know of 3 sons, Samuel Babcock b. 1749 ; Henry Babcock b. 1751 ; and Jeremiah Babcock b. 1755 . I believe they were all born in Boston, Mass. Jeremiah Babcock was of Augusta, Maine when he married, Anna Pettingill in 1789. Henry Babcock was of Bangor, Maine by 1782 as he had a son, William Babcock born there in that year.
I am hoping a John Ferriter/Feriter/Faritor can be found in the census for Boston in 1840. one daughter over 10, one son under 10 and possibly 2 daughter under 10 (one for sure). He was born about 1811 so was around 29 years of age and his wife was between 30-40 years. They were born in Ireland. The fourth children, a girl, was born about 1840 or 1841 in Boston. Thank you very much. Audrey
