    1. Re: Re: [MA-CEM] DARLING REPOSE CEMETERY
    2. Eden, Thanks for the suggestion. I should have included in my original message that the town of Uxbridge, MA does include "Darling" cemetery (#5) in its list of historic cemeteries. Also, it is refernced on the Uxbridge Town Records compilations of births, marriages, and deaths. I tried stopping at the town hall in Uxbridge, and was given a line drawn map. The map seems to verify that the cemtery is on the western side of Millville Road in the far eastern side of Uxbridge, just before Millville Road passes into Millville. Even though I searched a bit through the area, however, I did not yet find the cemetery. Hence the question. Hope I get lucky, and someone knows the trick to finding it. Debi C. 1. [MA-CEM] DARLING REPOSE CEMETERY
    2. Margie
    3. Several months ago I was driving past that area on Route 122--a street I've been down many times before. I noticed something strange about the old cemetery there. It looked like they were taking the stones down! I questioned this (to myself) but kept on driving. I'm not sure, but I think the reason you can't find that cemetery is because they have done something with it! It used to be quite visible. I know I didn't make myself clear here. I just wanted to tell you that I saw what looked to be the removal of that cemetery just several months ago! (It was on the same side of the street as the Cocke 'N Kettle Restaurant, heading towards Millville and away from Uxbridge) Margie ----- Original Message ----- From: <rootslilla@cox.net> To: <MA-CEMETERIES-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 1:22 PM Subject: Re: Re: [MA-CEM] DARLING REPOSE CEMETERY Eden, Thanks for the suggestion.
