    3. It's my understanding that the Archdiocese of Boston has the marker inscriptions for the old Catholic Cemetery in Cambridge. How do I access the Archdiocese's archives and has anyone had any experience in obtaining marker inscriptions for that cemetery? thanks, Charles

    3. Charles - the work with the Archdiocese of Boston Archives is handled in writing. You send a request to them and they provide the information that they have. I have used them to find out information about my ancestors in Hyde Park/Readville and they provided Baptismal/Confirmation Records and Marriage Records. They have a limited amount of records - but is best to contact them directly. They will perform some services over the phone -- as far as telling you if those records reside with them. Your request for information to be extracted from those records must be in writing. Check out their website -- http://www.rcab.org/archives/welcome.htm -- to get more information and their address.
