    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/3RB.2ACIAE/218 Message Board Post: I have a major mystery on my hands and need someone to verify the information I have about my greatgrandmother's grave stone. Her name is Emily L. Whitcomb. She is the wife of George L. Whitcomb. She died July 23, 1889. There is a fancy marble, stone with a verse that is partway readable. I have spent months verifying that her husband is there but there is no cemetery record recording the event in 1903. (George her husband died in Harrisville, NH April 19, 1903 and was sent to Westminster April 22, 1903 to be buried with her. The town record shows this event happened but the cemetery has no record.) So I am in the process of validating his burial there. Now to the confusing part. I live out west. I was sent a description of her stone which doesn't make sense. On the front somewhere is written BROTHER. On the back is Everette Whitcomb 1877-1910. Everette can't be her brother if he has the same last name. I found in a 1880 Census for Westminster her family and Eve! rette is her son who is 3 yrs old making him born in 1877. I think that there is a possibility there are other members in this plot. So I need someone to go look in detail at this site which is in "D" section and in detail see if they can figure out what is there. I now know her husband George is there, Everette her son, but who else. I wonder if the miss information is a description error and the grave stone holds the truth. Thank you. Kathy

    1. Re: MA-CEMETERIES-D Cemetery look up Please
    2. Does anyone ever go to MT Wollaston Cemetery in the Wollaston section of Quincy Ma? If so, could you possibly locate a grave and take a photo of it? The Surname would be Nelson. The 3 indiividuals buried in that plot are Alfred Nelson (my grandfather)born in Finland in 1888(around July I think) and died in Quincy Ma aproximately Sept 1941 at home, on Suomni Rd I believe. His wife Sylvi Maria Piispanen Nelson born Feb 17, 1888, also in Kivijarvi Finland . She died in Melrose Ma in April(around 22nd)1978. My dad(their son)born in Quincy Ma Feb 18, 1908 and died in Stoneham Ma on Nov 23, 1952. I have a hard time getting out to Quincy to do this myself. If your able to do this, let me know and I will reimburse you for developing and postage costs and send you my address. also if perhaps same someone(s) could see if there is a headstone anywhere at that cemetery with the names Lauri Piispanen, on it> That would be Syvlia father, and he died in Jan 15 1930, I believe in Quincy too.(or surrounding area). Also Juho Rikkard, Einar, Aliina, Wilho(Vilheim) they were Lauri's other children. I am not sure if they are buried at Mt Wollaston, but if possible a look and see would be appreciated. Thank you one and all for any help with this. Barbara Nsambradley@aol.com

    1. Mt. St. Albans Cemetery
    2. The best thing to do would be a death record look-up for the relatives. The correct cemetery name will probably be listed on the certificate. An obituary from the local paper will also probably list the place of burial. 3. I need some assistance locating a specific cemetery in Massachusetts. I've scoured all of my resources without any luck. My 97 year old aunt recently wrote me a letter with some information on some relatives. She spoke of her aunt who is buried in "Mount St. Alban's Cemetery" with her husband. She primarily resided in Malden and Melrose since the time she immigrated with her parents in 1890 at age 6. Is anyone familiar with thi cemetery and can point me in the right direction to find it? Any assistance would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance. Jeffrey
