Does anyone know where i can find or buy the Salisbury Cemet. Inscriptions??? thanks.
There are five cemetaries in Rowley. Three have only a few graves, which date from the 1700s, and one is private. So if he's buried in Rowley, it's probably at the 1639 Rowley Burial Ground, AKA the Main Street Cemetary. It's located in the center of town, on the east side of Main St next to Rowley Town Hall. jp --- > > >I'm interesting in obtaining a list of cemetaries in Rowley, along with >any known address or phone number for them. Hello, I'm new to the group. I'm looking for any information on Oswald Bosani. I'm not sure of the date he died, I believe it was around 1925-1930 in Great Barrington, MA and he is buried at Elmwood Cemetary. Also, I'm looking for any information on his mother, my great-grandmother, who came from La Spezia, Italy in 1908 to the same town. She was 62 years old and I'm not sure if she stayed in Great Barrington, MA until she died or if she went back to Italy. Her name was Josephina Teggi Bosani. Any info would be deeply appreciated. Thank you. Lori
I'm interesting in obtaining a list of cemetaries in Rowley, along with any known address or phone number for them. I do have ancestral relations there, but also need the info for another reason. My Grammy died this p-ast summer, and I promised to take over the cemetary visiting, and a very dear friend of hers, Dick Schier, is buried in Rowley, but I'm not sure which one. So, if I could get a list of cemetaries, I could call and locate which ones he's at. (If anyone need anything in the Lynn or Nahant or Revere cemetaries, I'd be glad to help)/ Thanks in advance. Does anyone have any information on Essex Co. Cemeteries. Most of my Lines come from Essex Co. ( Marblehead, Salisbury etc.) Hello, You are welcome to visit my web site re Old Burial Hill at Marblehead http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ccridland which has lists of names of those buried there, along with genealogical information for each. I have included links on the first page for the early pastors (photos and genealogies) as well as for the monuments at the top of the hill, one dedicated to fishermen, including genealogical information, and another dedicated to Capt. James Mugford, also with genealogical information. Enjoy! Claudia Cridland Member, NEHGS, MSMD
Hello, Please check out my web site for Old Burial Hill at Marblehead at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~ccridland Claudia Cridland
The Essex Society of Genealogists have a book called A Guide to Cemetaries in Essex County, Massachusetts, which lists all the cemetaries in each town, along with their location and description. If you think you might get sufficient use out of it, you could write to ESOG at P O Box 313, Lynnfield, MA 01940. The price listed in my copy is $12.50 plus $2.50 for postage, but you may want to check to make sure the price has changed. jp --- >Does anyone have any information on Essex Co. Cemeteries. Dear List Members, On Monday, December 23, I begin my Christmas Holiday week. I am spending it with my four children, their wives and husbands and my 9.5 grandchildren. It will be the first time in over 10 years I have had all my children with me for Christmas. I am thrilled to say the least. It is hard, as many of you know, when all of your children and grandchildren live thousands of miles from you. As you have already guessed, I will not be spending as much time as usual online watching over your list, but I will be back to full time on Tuesday, December 31st. I have also chosen not to have a list-sitter watch you while I am away. I really do not think you need one. I will be checking in each evening after the grandchildren and down for the day. If there is a problem which you think I need to address, send a personal message to me at KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net. I will check those first thing each night. If off topic messages are sent or if suddenly someone calls for a Roll Call, please just let it pass. Just smile and remember what I would say and hit that delete button. I will take care of the problems for you as soon as I check in. I have the best lists on Rootsweb and the greatest members so I know you will be just fine. I wish for each of you and yours a special Holiday Season filled with love, friendship, friends and family. I thank each of you for your friendship and for your support this past year. You fill my my world. Kathleen Burnett List Mom
Hey Josh: I have just returned from being abroad for four years and want to begin the search for my roots. I would gladly oblige when i go through Massachusetts but this is a bad time of year to go to a cemetery since it is so blasted cold and by the time I get there everything will be covered with snow. Let me know if you find someone. Otherwise when I go to MA I will try to get those pictures. --- Josh Brown <gettysburg63@msn.com> wrote: > Hello: > > Could some kind soul please take a picture of a gravestone at SONS OF JACOB > CEMETERY in Danvers, Essex County?
