    3. Dale, thank your for your response to my plea! I checked my well worn copy of Mr. Lambert's book. The cemetery known as North New Salem Cemetery (1820) on Fry Rd. did not have her listed. The cemetery opened in 1820, she died in 1821 and lived in North New Salem according to the will & probate filed in Greenfield, the county seat. There are several relatives listed in the will. I will check to see if they are buried there. She may have been married to either John or Samuel Steel. Her maiden name was Polly Johnson. https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/234344/north-new-salem-cemetery I understand the listings are from volunteers and are uploaded as they have information or a photo of a headstone. 3. Dear cemetery folks: I recently completed a study of the West Street Cemetery (1798-1879) in Fitchburg, Mass., which was originally the family burying ground of the early Fitchburg Marshall families. The paper will be published in print in a few months, but a copy of the final draft is available for downloading here: http://ssrn.com/abstract=2544520 It includes transcriptions of the surviving stones as well as an outline of the early Fitchburg Marshalls, descending from Dr. Jonas Marshall (1738-1825) of Chelmsford and Fitchburg; occupants include Revolutionary War veteran William Farr of Littleton (1755-1834) and Leonard Downe of the Harvard class of 1822. Other surnames represented in the cemetery are: Allen, Blanchard, Bowers, Cowden, Crouch, Darby, Downe, Eaton, Farr, Foster, Garfield, Hadley, Kimball, Marshall, Parkhurst, Proctor, Sampson, Steward, and Whitman. I hope it may be of interest. Bob O'Hara

    3. Just found one more page reference I'd like to check in the same Dodge volume if possible: Susana Chace and Moody Chace, also in the Millbury Cemetery. According to the online transcript, Susana's record is "Susana Chace, d. Aug. 2, 1797, aged 18 yrs." but the photo of the stone in the Farber Collection clearly gives her date of death as Aug. 2, 1776, and her age as 18 hours, not 18 years, with additional minor differences: http://luna.davidrumsey.com:8280/luna/servlet/s/c8n30f Many thanks, Bob in Fitchburg On Sat, Apr 27, 2013 at 1:23 PM, Robert J. 3. Dear cemetery folks: If anyone has a copy of Dodge's 1898 volume "Inscriptions in the Cemeteries of Sutton" (which includes Millbury) I'd be grateful for a quick lookup of a page reference. There is an online transcription of the volume (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~bbunce77/SuttonMACemeteries.html), but for documentation purposes I'd like to be able to cite the page number, and that doesn't appear in the online transcript. I'm looking for the entries of two children: David Gould (d 6 Feb 1776) and his sister Elizabeth Gould (d 10 Aug 1776). Both appear in the Millbury Cemetery section of the online transcript, and all I need is the page number(s). Many thanks! I'm citing the Dodge volume in my study of the South Street Cemetery in Fitchburg (1766). You can read a bit about South Street, and see a few pictures, here: http://rjohara.net/cemeteries/south-street/ Many thanks. Bob in Fitchburg
