I show that Henry Lyerly(1809-son of Henry Lyerly (1786) and Mary Fite)) married to Catherine Elizabeth Smith DID NOT have a son John. For convenience we'll call Henry (1786), Henry Sr. Henry Sr. died in 1857 and according to his probate records his son Henry, Jr. (1809) was already deceased.
