    1. [LUTHERAN-ROOTS-L] Margarethe KAISER
    2. Dorene L. Kaiser
    3. Hi, Herman Rudolph Kaiser b. 7-25-1811 Strohe, Ger. d. 1-7-1894 Freistatt, MO, came to America with 6 of his 8 children landing in Baltimore, MD on 8-8-1854. Their original plan (?) was to go to Cincinnati, OH. However, 2 yrs. later they are in Venedy, IL. Around 1879 the family (except for one son) moved to Freistatt, MO, from where they scattered far and wide. I do have info on some of the children but want to find out about the oldest, Margarethe Christine Auguste KAISER b. 8-21-1836 Bramsche. She is listed on the ship records but not since. They say she died in Baltimore in 1854, but I have not found proof. Other possibilities: died while traveling (where and how do I find out); if they went to Cincinnati did she die there (did not find it there either)?? At any rate, she did not show up in Venedy with the rest of the family. The other children are: 2. Regine Charlotte Amalie b. 2-2-1838 Bramsche, Ger. d. 1-4-1895 Freistatt, MO m. 11-27-1856 Venedy, IL Johann H. C. BIERMANN 3. Hermann Rudolph Leonhardt b. 9-23-1839 Bramsche d. 5-17-1900 Freiststatt m. 2-27-1862 Venedy, IL Anna Maria Louise AUF DEM BRINKE b. 1-1-1843 d. 7-8-1881 Freistatt THIS IS MY LINE. 4. Rudolph Bernhard Ernst b. 1-13-1842 Bramsche d. 12-29-1907 St. Paul, IL m. 10-15-1865 Venedy, IL Maria Julianna BOJE 5. Hermann Heinrich Friedrich b. 1-13-1844 Bramsche d. 10-20-1917 Freistatt m. 6-13-1869 Venedy, IL Marie Elizabeth BROCKSCHMIDT 7. Ernst August Rudolph b. 4-23-1851 Bramsche d. 10-6-1916 Freistatt m. 5-13-1875 Venedy Dorothea Wilhelmina MOELLER #s 6 (Elise Johanne b. 8-4-1848 d. 8-16-1848) and 8 (b. 4-29-1853 d. 10-5-1853) were born and died in Bramsche. Their mother, (Herman Rudolph's first wife) Maria Christine SCHUERMANN b. 8-9-1813 d. 6-2-1853 was also born and died in Bramsche. Herman Rudolph's second wife: m. 11-20-1856 Venedy, IL Katherine (nee PETERS) AUF DEM BRINKE - widow with 5 children (oldest is wife of #3 above.) Since they were Lutherans their entire lives, Margarethe has to be buried in a Lutheran cemetary somewhere, but where is the question. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dorene Kaiser
