My husband's gg grandfather was Friderick Wilhelm MUMME, born on 17 July 1801, in Wehrstedt, Hannover, Prussia. He was the youngest son of Johann Friederich Mumme and Johanna Wilhelmina KUNSTEIN who were married on 27 Nov 1792 in Wehrstedt, Hannover, Prussia. Our family is looking for birth and death information on Johann and Johanna, whose three children were born in Wehrstedt, Hannover, Prussia, in 1794, 1798 and 1801. Also, information on Johann's brothers and sisters might help us make links with other Mummes around the world. Friderick and his wife, Marie Elizabette (Ilhabe) BAHTMANN, emigrated to Adelaide, Sth. Australia in 1857 with their children on the ship, "Peter Godeffroy". One of their children (Marie) died in Germany, but we have no birth or death information on her.
