    3. Darlyne, My great grandfather was August Friedrich Boelter. He was born in Prussia Jan. 31, 1872. We do not know when he came over or where he landed. He married Martha Matlida Fleming (born June 26, 1883-no info on parents or where born)--we don't know when or where. They had 2 children--William (born in 1904) and Ida (my grandmother, born in 1905). Matlida died very young (died Sept 22, 1916). With the help of his mother, August raised his 2 children here in South Texas. August died Jan. 6, 1952. Both he and Matlida are buried at the Redemer Church of Christ Cemetary in Zuehl, Texas (a small community east of San Antonio, Texas). August's mother was Uetta Sonnetag--we think her first husband was a Boelter and her second was a Holtz. She died before 1930 and is buried at the Redemer Church of Christ Cemetary. Uetta also had a younger son (Boelter) but do not have his first name. Does any of this fit into your tree? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
