My great-grandparents came to America from Germany in the late 1800's. My great-grandparents were John "Hans" Kranig and his wife Maggie (Peters)Kranig the couple and their children settled in Council Bluffs Iowa. It is also believed that Maggie's father Han Peters accompanied then on their trip to America.
