I am searching for any information about the families (antecedant, descendant,collateral) of: George RENTSCHLER -b. Baden, Germany ~ 1839 Katrina FABER -b. Hesse, Germany ~ 1843 ("Katrina" - could be any German variation of "Kate, or Katherine"). This couple were married- probably in U.S., probably in Pennsylvania. They are found in the Philadelphia census of both 1870 and 1880. Children listed (census data): Amelia b. ~ 1864 Louise b. April 30, 1868 (my grandmother - non census data). George b. ~1870 Lillie b. ~ 1876 Edith b. ~ 1878 Julia b.~ 1880 Any information or suggestions as to areas in which further investigation would be profitable, would be most appreciated.
