Information available at present to me is from the 1870 and 1880 census for Philadelphia. George RENTSCHLER - b. Baden, Germany, about 1839. George married Kate (any German variation of "Kate or Katherine") FABER, probably in Pennsylvania, Possibly in Philadelphia. Family was Lutheran, churh or churches attended unknown. Names of children reported in 1880 census: Amelia (b.~ 1864) Louise (b. Ap;ril 30, 1868 - family information - my grandmother).
