Per the Vital Statistics File of the York County, Historical Society: Johannes Hanauer and Susannah Dick were married on June 4, 1765 by Rev. C. F. Wildbahne at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania. At the same church, Elizabeth was born to John Hanauer on July 11, 1742, baptized on August 6, 1742 as Witnessed by Michael Earl and his wife. I am descended from the Hanauers.
