My God........Rachel may have found my lost g/g/g/grandfather Lemuel Luddington. He next appears in the 1790 census in Balston Spa, Albany co NY. The 1778 date fits perfectly. What other info can u find on him ? What part of CT ? From what family ? I have never spotted him anywhere else in any records. He later married a Patience Guernsey but I cannot find her or that family and the marriage.
