Just got back from 3 fast days in MI. While there I visited Ludington for a short time. The city seesm to be growing in leaps and bounds down along the waterfront with all kinds of new condos going up; however when looking for some tee shirts for the grandkids I discovered that most of the store keepers had the same story...........tourism is way down so far this year and sales are slow. The reason given? Hi gas prices are keeping folks closer to home. Who wudda thunk it?? Oh yes..........I did not have time to stop and visit with all the Luds in MI as usual; but maybe next time. Wiz
