    2. If you have time, try the Foundry Museum in Cold Spring, NY; it is right across the river from West Point and was originally the foundry for the USA. The door to the springhouse from the old Ludington House (it was torn down when they built Route 52) is mounted near the entrance of the museum. I took a picture of it. Mildred

    3. Thanks Mildred, good info and that is on my place of things to visit. I went last summer and it was closed for renovations so I hope the door is still there! It just re-opened in July.
