I will try to clarify some of this info that Rachel Sent out. 1850 Danville, Vermilion, IL Ludington, Harvey - This one is born in NY 1793. Harvey the first. John QL is Harvey II brother. Lots of info on him. I have a lot of pictures of the gravestones for the rest of the Ludington's in this group. 1860 Harvey Ludington - Surveyor is Harvey I (1793) HS is Harvey Samuel II (1835) Catherine is wife of Harvey Samuel II Reynolds and Hiram I have no info on. Believe Thomas was a child staying with Harvey II and Catherine. 1870 James is a brother of Harvey II. I do not know who Marietta is. Harvey Luddington - pattern maker is Harvey II (1835). I wonder if my long lost Joseph could actually be James (1857) brother of Harvey III. The information from my family is not the most correct I have found out. I do not think so but anything is possible. I do believe this Hiram is actually Harvey III (1860) The listing for John Ludington is actually John QA's family. 1880 Catherine is Harvey II wife. Harvey II died very young. In his 30's I believe. John and Clara - again this is John QA and wife Clarrissa. Ellan is actually Ella. The listed Williams are the family of Catherine Williams who married Harvey II. Frank Ludington is the son of Harvey Ludington III (1860) and Ella Correll. This would be the first wife of Harvey as he went to Chicago and married Gertrude. Frank married Helen McKinney and they moved to Seattle. He had 3 children, Nylin, Lois Althea and Marzetta. Nylin and Lois are passed on and Marzetta lives in Washington State. I do notice a J. F. Ludington passing away in 1891 in Cook County. Could this be Joseph? Passing away at 33 would make him born in 1858 and would make him 2 years older than Harvey III How is that for speculation?????? Fred Jones
