Hi, Everybody, A couple of years ago I purchased some letters on Ebay. They were written by Clyde Ludington to his mother, Alice, while he was in college. This was in 1905-08. I have tried to find a descendant of Clyde who might be interested in having these letters. Not being successful, I put the file away but found it again today while cleaning some drawers in the office. So, I thought I would check with the list to see if anybody here might know of a descendant or where I might look for one. Clyde Ludington married Nellie Reed in 1917. They had three children, Erwin Clyde (died in infancy), Lincoln (born 1922, died 2003) and Alice (born abt. 1926). I don't know anything about Alice beyond her being on the 1930 census as a four year old child. Lincoln died in Baltimore February 16, 2003. I have asked genealogy volunteers from the area to search for a obit but none was found. I don't know anything about a marriage or children for him. Clyde and Nellie were divorced but I don't know dates. Does anybody on the list have any ideas about how to get these letters to a descendant? I welcome all suggestions. Thanks, Elaine
