I does have an index but mostly can only help place a person. I.e. Comfort is on page 2. It places him in 1788 In Fredrick's town as a Fence Viewer (spelling Ludenton) and The Commemorative and Biographical Records of Dutchess County NY PT I and PT II no Ludington's but may have other family names.
