John is from my clan. He has never been very responsive to inquiries. Here he is shown below with middle names shown. Thomas Lamson/John Samuel/Samuel Guy/Archibald T/Seth C Luddington, b 1788 in NY. Seth C is my g/g/grandfather too and I believe he may well be from your branch as the name "Lemuel" was used a lot. Seth immigrated to Upper Canada (now Ontario) abt 1824 and had a large family there. Some of the kids moved to MI and many of the ones in and near Pt Huron, Lapeer and Owassa are related to Seth. My g/grandather (Joseph) stayed in Ont. near present day Woodstock, where he and Seth and others, including my parents and a brother, are buried. I live just a few hundred yards from the cemetery. Y-DNA tests prove that we are related to the Wm of 1607 lineage but do not pinpoint the actual person involved, or the time frame. There are some Luddingtons in Detroit too and they come from the Nova Scotia Luddingtons who were Loyalists that were expelled from the USA after the Rev War. See my website at "www.ludington.name" The man in the lower rt of the pic is my grandfather Andrew with his siblngs at Joseph's funeral in 1911. Thanks for the info. I have Seth C in my tree, but the only Archibald was another line. I believe Thomas has 2 sisters, Laura K and Ann L, both of whom went to Albion College. I have Seth C/Levi/Asa//Eliphalet/William/William (1607). Does that agree with your tree? I am Jack/Lewis J/Lewis/Philo B/Jeremiah/Lemuel/James/John/Thomas/William (1607) and Jack/Lewis J/Lewis/Philo B/Jeremiah/Lemuel/Elenor Dains/Mercy Luddington Dains/William/William (1607) At 10:16 PM 4/20/2006, you wrote: >John is from my clan.
