Margaret was an adopted girl by James Cavendish Luddington who was a grandftather to our member Mildred P Ludington Palmer in AZ. Warnick Phyllis N. Warnick, age 73 of Canton, OH, passed away Monday evening in her home following a brief illness with her "Together Again" beloved family surrounding her in love. Born in Cass, WV on January 2, 1932 to her parents, the late William and Margaret (Luddington) Stanley, she had been a resident of Canton for most of her adult life. She retired in 1985 from Ecko Products after 23 years of work as a sharpener, and very much enjoyed life with her family as she shared her passion for gardening and bowling. Besides her parents, her husband, Albert H. Warnick; sisters, Louise Costello, Margaret Stanley and Beatrice Null; and brothers, Robert, Russell and Homer Stanley have preceded her in death. Phyllis is survived by sons, James Warnick (fiancée, Janie Basham) of Massillon, Roger Warnick (daughter-in-law, Tamara) of Canton, and Rodney Warnick (companion, Norm Brock) of Florida; daughters, Earlene Gordon of Wrentham, MA and Sandra King of Canton; six grandchildren, Thomas Gordon (Jocelyn), Theresa Gardiner (Jason), Richard King, Alisha Stekle (Stephen), Cori Warnick, and Cody Warnick; and six great grandchildren. Phyllis is also survived by her sister, Pearl Naste of Canton; and brothers, Paul Stanley (Margaret) of Canton, Earl Stanley (June) of Colorado, Maynard Stanley (Jennie) of West Virginia, and Marvin Stanley (Katie) of South Carolina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Scott officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. The only Luds i have that lived there in that time frame (1930's) do not have daughter or sister called Janie (Jane?) nor do any show up in the 1930 census but I will look further.
