Hi Justin......welcome to the Lud/Ludd study group. You and I are related as we both go back to a Seth Ludington b NY in 1788. I have been tracking Seth for many years but cannot connect him to any particular branch of the William Luddington tree. We do connect tho, thru T-DNA tests, to other branches from NY and CT. I have talked to Mark on several occasions and worked with him a couple of yrs ago to try to set up a Ludington reunion in Ludington MI. However due to some commitments we had it did not come off. Your ancestry goes like this........Justin/David/Carl/Alexander/Cyrus (a bro to my grandfather Andrew) Joseph/Seth etc. Seth came to Upper Canada abt 1824 and settled near present day Woodstock, Ontario, where he had a big family. He died there in 1876 at age 88 and is buried nearby along with some children and grandchidren. My own parents and a brother lie near him too. Many of Seth's kids moved to MI in the 1860/70 period and settled near Lapeer Co. There are still many Luds there to this day. We had a reunion in that area in 1998 at which time I got to meet many of them. Seth's son Joseph stayed behind and farmed in Ontario. His son Cyrus moved to the MI abt 1890 and maried a MI girl and that was the start of your branch in the US. Get back to me for more details. Ron Ludington
