Joseph Bryan DENBY CHESAPEAKE, VA. Joseph Bryan DENBY, 65, died Jan. 22 in Norfolk, Va. He was born in Currituck County and was a truck driver with E.H. Ives Corp. He was a member of Laurel Ave. Church of Christ and was an Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient during the Korean War. Survivors include a daughter, Kim LUDINGTON of Greensboro; three sons: Ricky DENBY of Durham, Jeff DENBY of Rougemont and Ricky MUDEN of Barco; a sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Ellis IVES of Chesapeake; 4 grandchildren: Diana McKINNEY of Timberlake, Stacy LUDINGTON, Leslie LUDINGTON and David LUDINGTON, all of Greensboro; and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by the Rev. Rupert R. WALLACE. Burial was in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Elizabeth City.
