Ron and All, I have a theory about our Afro-American Luds. In a MO census I found an Afro-American lady married to a Lud they had at least 1 son if I remember right. Maybe there was more children? Then it shows her married to someone else in TX in a later census with her children. The Lud must have died or they divorced??? Just thinking I could look up those census if interested. SanDee
