I have a George H. Luddington that I found in the 1880 U.S. census in the village of Lake Benton, Lincoln Co., Minnesota a couple of years ago that I have never followed up on. According to the census he was born in England ca. 1858; his father was William who was also living with them. His wife, Mary A. ? was from Wisconsin, born ca 1857, unknown parents. They had 1 daughter Laura E. Luddington born in Wisconsin around 1879. This may be a little early for your person but I wasn't sure about the middle name so wanted to pass this along to you.
