Hi, All, First, I want to congratulate Karen on her new position as Assistant Director of the FHC in Page. I know she will be an asset to the facility. (In fact, she was probably doing the job already...just didn't have the title yet.) And, I want to thank everybody that gave me advice and good hints about how to be successful during my visit. I did try to follow your advice and went well prepared. Unfortunately, the visit was not as productive as I had hoped but I will go back and again and continue to try to locate our elusive ancestors. My first objective is to locate land records for Duchess County, New York. I think that is where most of the puzzles lie. I will try again after the one order I placed arrives.
