Good new info.Paul ......From that I have gathered that Thomas must have lost the first wife and daughter about 1851-52 as he shows in NYC with a new wife and an 8 year old daughter (pus other kids) in 1860 census. Can you find a death for the first wife or the daughter from that marriage? The marriage took place at St Mary Magdalene church. One of the whiteness was a Sarah Luddington, both of them signed the register themselves (no x as there mark).
