WHOOPS I goofed. I had Jack Ludington's history incorrect in that I missed his father altogether. Le's start over.......... John Samuel (Jack ) Ludington (1928-2010) comes from my branch of the Ludingtons. He would be a g/g/grandson of my Seth b in Saratoga Co NY in 1788. Seth 1788-1876 NY/Ont.; Samuel 1849-1899 Ont./MI;  Archibald T. 1872-1951 Ont./MI;  Samuel Guy 1898 -1923 MI;  then John.  This is the branch we have been searching of late trying to find the history of Lemuel, Seth's father.Sorry about that mistake.
