Ron, I have a Lemuel Ludington dob 5/8/1747 in Windham WC Connectiut. His wife was Truscott Hopestill dob 7/29/1762. This Lemuel died 1839 in Euclid Ohio. He had a son named Lemuel dob 2/1790.I don't know if this will help you. Thanks Pat but I have that one. The one I am missing first shows in Balston spa NY in the 1790 census, married to a Patience Gurnsey, and living down the street fro other Gurnseys. He shows with two sons, one of which is my G/G/Grandfather, Seth C Luddington.I do not see the name, Lemuel, used by any other Lud branch before that date except for the Lemuel you show. So who were this Lemuel's parents ?? Y-DNA tests show that he was a real Lud from the William of 1607 ancestry as perfect matches appear from both sides of the men in question.
