    3. I show your grandpa Harvey Samuel Lud (1860-1935) as being m twice. BUT I do not show him with a brother called Joseph.  Is Joseph another figment of someones imagination? He does not show in any census or in Chicago death notices that I have seen.  Harvey shows in the 1910 and 1920 census as being 27 or 28 years older than Gertrude but then in the 1930 census he says he was 23 when he m which would be before Gertrude was even born. Something fishy in Seattle?  Ron Ludington ________________________________ From: Fred Jones <[email protected]> To: Luddington List <[email protected]> Sent: Wed, November 3, 2010 3:18:43 PM Subject: [LUDDINGTON] Joseph Luddington - I am still trying to find information on my grandfathers brother Joseph who went to Chicago from Danville.  He was engaged to Gertrude Gilbert when he passed away.  My grandfather went to Chicago for the funeral, met Gertrude and got married.  There seems to be absolutely no info on this Joseph out there. 3. I am thinking there is something fishy because I cannot find any info on him or a Peter. Supposedly Harvey went to Chicago for the funeral of his brother Joseph. Met Joseph's fiance Gertrude and after a while they got married and moved to Seattle. This would indicate to me that somewhere in the Chicago or northern Illinois area there is a death certificate for a Joseph Ludington around March of 1898. I cannot find anything. Maybe this is another hapinstance like Harvey being in the Pony Express lol.
