At the time of his death, he was 53 years of age. He was the son of Lillian Luddington Baker and the late Grant Baker. Along with his mother, his survivors are his wife, Bernice Owens Baker, his sons, Johnny Ray and wife Rebecca Baker, Johnathon and wife Tracy Baker, Mitchell Lee and wife Mary Baker and Taylor and wife Hilda Baker. He is also survived by sisters and brothers, Brenda Brooks, Lori Warerner, Donna Boston, Mary Ellen Shoemaker, Judy Brooks, Elaine Baker, Carolyn Runyon, Ted Baker, Perry Baker, Sonny Baker, Grant Baker, Jr. and Jimmy Baker. Mr. Baker’s family received friends from noon until 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 1, at which time the funeral service was conducted at Maggard Brothers Funeral Home.
