Just got off the phone with Mrs. Mary Lou Luddington (Don) whose mother is the Flossie Luddington mentioned in this email. She lives in Kingston, WA. Don has passed on and they have no children. Mary Lou is actually Don's second wife however Don and first wife had no children either. She was very interested in one "d" two "d" in the name. Don and Carolyn were brother and sister. According to Mary Lou, Don never spoke much of his family and hardly ever mentioned his dad. She said she believes his family was from the Illinois area. She also stated that the Eastern Washington Luddington's were a little stand offish and did not like outsiders. This would be the Euphrata and Wenatchee group. I also found out from her that there was a Luddington who was the City Engineer for the city of Poulsbo. This Lud has a son (Darren?) in Alaska. We are going to get together in the near future and talk some more. She is very busy volunteering, doing missionary work and setting up a huge yard sale at the present time. Ron, isn't this the branch we talked to that had the young man who recently passed away? Will keep you up to date as I get the info., Fred ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Campbell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, November 02, 2010 3:49 PM Subject: [LUDDINGTON] CAROLYN GRACE (LUDDINGTON) WILLIAMS Carolyn Luddington 23 August 1937 - 5 June 1978CAROLYN GRACE (LUDDINGTON) WILLIAMS Carolyn Grace Williams, born in Ephrata on August 23, 1937 passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Wenatchee on June 5, 1978.
