Abner was a son of Comfort Lud. Abner 1816-abt 1871, was m 3 times and had  several chaildren. He is said to have m his sister-in-law, Ann Holdcraft (Holdcroft)  Ludington, who was m to his bro Comfort. No one seems to know just what hapenned to that Comfort as he disapeared from all records. Abner had to have permission from his mom to get m to her as he was under age at the time.
