Joan Kiser Ludington, 78 of Glenwood, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on February 26, 2006 at Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs, IA. She was born Jan. 15, 1928 in Pacific Junction, Iowa to Harry J. & Hazel Marie (McLain) Kiser. Joan was united in marriage to Clifford Alden Ludington on Nov. 1, 1952 in Glenwood, IA. To this union one son Charles was born. Joan was a member of First Congregational U.C.C. in Glenwood, Eastern Star, Lioness and Jolly Women Club, and she was active in the Mills County Republican Women’s Club. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford on Nov. 20, 1997, sisters: Helen Osborne and Retha Meyers. She is survived by her son: Charles & wife Marci Ludington of Council Bluffs, IA; four grandsons: Ryan & fiancé Jodi Stansbury of Council Bluffs, IA; Michael Ludington of Glenwood, IA; Luke Martin & fiancé Amber Draper of Spirit Lake, IA; Seth Martin of Council Bluffs, IA; three great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
