    3. That is sad to see. We had a lot of idiots go thru our cemetery a few years ago and push a lot of stones over including the large Ludington stone that contains all my grand and great grand parents and a brother of mine. A neighbour that has a back hoe and I went over and were able ro raise the main stones and reset them properly.. The weather plays a big enough part in the cemeteries too.   We are working on a reunion next July in Putnam Co. It's the 200th year for them and we are working on getting some Ludingtons to partake in the events. Vincent DaQuino, the Sybil  Ludington writer, is working with the county to put some events together.   Ron Ludington ________________________________ From: Richard Singleton <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, October 17, 2011 2:00 PM Subject: [LUDDINGTON] Joseph Ludington Pawling Rural Cemetery visited Pawling Rural Cemetery yesterday and was sad to see the headstone of Joseph Ludington down and broken. It had been leaning backwards some time back, but the last time I visited it didn't have that backward tilt. I don't know if it had been righted and subsequently broke, or broke and was replanted and then fell again. There should be a piece of the unmarked bottom of the headstone still in the ground.  Posted pics on the MyFamily.com Luddington/Ludington site. Rich Singleton This list is adoptable.
