I see mentioned below an Elizabeth Ludington m to a Johnson Dakin at one time. Henry Lewis Ludington , son of Samuel Ludington, (Bro to col Henry) also had a daughter called Elizabeth Dakin Ludington 1809-1847 who m a Stephen B Adee. Seeing as how the Dakin name pops up in the Lud family at a later date makes me think that the Baptist church property may have been donated by the Samuel Ludington family and not col Henry's family. I do not see the Dakin name mentioned in Col Henry's branch at all.
