On Dec. 10, 1988, he married Mildred Ludington HELT DANIEL in Hoisington. She survives. Other survivors include: three stepdaughters, Martha Haberman, Great Bend, Jacque Byers and Susie Strosnider, both of Salina; three brothers, Harold and Bernard, both of Great Bend, and Edwin, Olmitz; 11 step-grandchildren; and 29 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, William; and two sisters, Christine Steiner and Magdalene Steiner. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Olmitz.
