Yes I did hear from the lady in Alaska and I do have the story about Richard Luddington from Nova Scotia who supposedly jumped ship in Oregon and m a  American Indian lady. They eventually moved to a Montana reservation where descends live to this day.  My study now involves over 6000 Ludds and Luds in N America plus other related branches in which the actual relationship has not yet be established. My own branch is unconnected to the Wm Luddington branch that first shows, but Y-DNA says we are closely related ! When the US census of 1940 comes out soon I expect to add many more. It keeps detaching and dying having dickins of a time to see any thing. The first eye is still considered legally blind and the 2nd is just startting to see in and out with the thrid try. Recheck is on Mon hopefully some will remain attached as it was the last and final try. I'm only 54 way to young for all this. Any way I have emailed and called windows and tried to reset with a new account but put old password in so they blocked my gmail as well. I got a letter from Alaska from a lady who husband was from the Guysbrough County Ludds. He skipped ship and went awal meeting a Native American gal and is on Ron'd list. She said she called Ron and told him the st! ory it was interesting as she was a Campbell from the samer Clan as my husband. It seems a lot of the families are related on my moms and dads sides :) No onder I'm crazy right ????
