    3. There was a notice in the Great Bend Daily Tribune (Great Bend, Kansas) dated November 4, 1954 Mildred vs. Clifton "petition under reciprocal enforcement of support law" So it would seem he abandoned the family. There was a divorce notice in the same paper March 16, 1970 divorce granted. Probably was able to get an annulment after that. She married Bill Daniel in May of 1970. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Barbara Campbell Sent: Sunday, June 12, 2011 6:54 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [LUDDINGTON] he married Mildred Ludington HELT DANIEL in Hoisington Wow being an active Catholic must of been awful after three marriages unless they all died/ > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Sun, 12 Jun 2011 13:11:24 -0500 > Subject: Re: [LUDDINGTON] he married Mildred Ludington HELT DANIEL in Hoisington > > OK - third time's the charm - maybe it'll go through this time...grrrr. > > She was brave to married 3 times.:) > http://www.midksnews.com/Hoisington%20Dispatch/Hoisingtonhm2.html > > Updated 4/22/11 > Mildred J. 3. Can't find anything useful in a fast search. Best guess would be that the daughter Kim may have married and divorced a Lud, since he isn't listed. The son with a different last name could be a step-son. No wife living or deceased is mentioned, so probably divorced. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Barbara Campbell Sent: Saturday, June 11, 2011 9:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LUDDINGTON] kind of confusing Joseph Bryan DENBY CHESAPEAKE, VA. - Joseph Bryan DENBY, 65, died Jan. 22 in Norfolk, Va. 3. http://www.press-enterprise.com/newsarchive/2001/11/23/1006499902.html The Obit was Published Nov 23, 2001 So she would have been born circa 1940. Found a California divorce record for Dianna M Ludington and James M Ludington dated Jan. 24 1979. There are 2 indexed listings for the marriage - both are the same number so, one should be maiden name, one a previous marriage: James M Ludington Dianna M Lapinski 20 Nov 1970 Los Angeles City James M Ludington Dianna M Mitchell 20 Nov 1970 Los Angeles City They show his birth circa 1943 age 27 at time of marriage. She was 30. Since she also has a son John Miller - I would assume another marriage - PROBABLY previous. (My gr-grandmother married Silas Kinney AFTER she left Elias Ludington, but she is buried as a Ludington) (Possibly because she never actually divorced Elias) OK - here are two marriage records: Dianne M Lapinski abt 1941 Jack G Biggs 16 Feb 1963 Los Angeles Dianne M Lapinski abt 1941 Jack G Mitchell 16 Feb 1963 Los Angeles Once again both registry numbers and state file numbers are the same. Odd. Both are also listed under Miller: Dianne M Miller abt 1941 Jack G Mitchell 16 Feb 1963 Los Angeles Dianne M Miller abt 1941 Jack G Biggs 16 Feb 1963 So, it looks like Lapinski was most likely the maiden name, followed by marriages to ? Miller then Jack G Biggs/Mitchell then James M Lud. Did find 2 possible birth records: Name: John R Miller Birth Date: 2 Nov 1957 Gender: Male Mother's Maiden Name: Lapinski Birth County: Los Angeles Name: Donald R Mitchell Birth Date: 9 Feb 1964 Gender: Male Mother's Maiden Name: Lapinski Birth County: Los Angeles So, there may have been no Lud offspring. I'm not seeing any Luds in the CA birth index with any of Lapinski/Miller/Biggs/Mitchell as a maternal name. The California divorce index begins in 1966, too late for either Miller or Biggs/Mitchell -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Barbara Campbell Sent: Friday, June 10, 2011 10:35 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [LUDDINGTON] DIANNA LUDINGTON, 61 DIANNA LUDINGTON, 61, died Oct. 30 at Chino Valley Medical Center.
