    1. Re: LUCAS, william
    2. My William died in 1758. His will listed children: Eliza, Rachel, Zachary, William, Jean, and Moses and his "dear Wife", Jean. The will was wonderful! He left 40 pounds of feathers, and brandy, and Shitten Run, and puter plaits to his family. What a treasure! There was also a will from his brother, John Lucas. One of William's daughters, Frances, married my GGGGGGrandfather, John Ferguson, who had my GGGGGrandmother Sally Ferguson who married Braddock Beasley from Smith County TN., which isn't far from the Kentucky border. I have yet to find out how this all came about==this merging of Beasleys and Ferguson/Lucas's. But, I sure hope I find out eventually. I am very persistent!!!! debby
